Complete an approved engineering transfer certificate or diploma from one of the following BC colleges or universities. Students following this route of admission will need to complete their chosen Engineering Transfer Program (ENGT) or Common First-Year Engineering Curriculum (CFYEC) within one academic year* and with a GPA of at least 3.1 to be eligible for guaranteed placement in second-year engineering at UBC Vancouver.
Ensure your selected Humanities elective is an approved subject.

UBC-Langara Indigenous Transfer Partnership
First Nations, Métis, and Inuit students may pursue UBC Engineering through an extended first year offered in collaboration with Langara. Indigenous students must successfully complete the Engineering Transfer Program at Langara with a GPA of 2.8 over a 24-month period and complete the Transition Plan to be eligible for second-year engineering at UBC.

Technology Diploma Bridge Program
Camosun College's Engineering Bridge program allows technology diploma graduates into third-year at UBC Engineering.
Diploma graduates in civil engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology, or mining engineering technology are eligible for the third-year Civil, Mechanical, or Mining Engineering program, respectively.
