This event is intended for students who have been admitted to the Bachelor of Applied Science for 2026W.

What does life look like outside of classes in first year—and how do you actually balance it all? Making friends, finding your people, and building a life beyond academics are a huge part of the experience, and UBC Engineering has tons of ways to get involved. At this event, students share fun, low-pressure ways to meet people, try new things, and make the most of your time outside the classroom.

We are excited to present our Get Set for UBC Engineering Summer Events!

In this event series, current students will share their experiences and insights on a variety of topics to help you prepare for UBC Engineering. These virtual events are developed and facilitated by Senior Orientation Leaders, the Engineering Undergraduate Society (EUS), and Applied Science staff. Come, ask questions, and meet other incoming students.
