Grade 11 or 12 students are invited to experience a day in the UBC Chemical and Biological Engineering program. Please note that this is the same event as hosted in November 2025.

Join us for a day to:

  • Learn about the exciting careers of Chemical and Biological Engineers
  • Participate in fun, interactive workshops to better understand how engineers work together to solve real-world problems
  • Attend short lectures to experience what it’s like to be a Chemical and Biological Engineering student at UBC
  • Tour the laboratories
  • Meet professors and current students

How it works:

  • This one-day experience is FREE
  • Applications open October 1, 2025
  • Spaces are limited, apply early!
  • Meet us in the Chemical and Biological Engineering Building for the day
  • Lunch and snacks will be provided
