We’re switching lanes for this event! Join us on a Sunday this March where we will learn about the human body in motion. We will explore key biomechanics and kinesiology concepts and see how technological innovations in engineering and beyond are shaping sports science today. Whether it’s preventing injuries in athletes or designing or designing tools to improve performance, this event is perfect for anyone curious about the intersection between STEM and sports. 

For Winter 2026, Geering Up has a variety of high school events being held at UBC on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. From coding creatively to learning about how the brain works, pick an event that calls the most to you! Event descriptions and details can be found here.
