About the Team

UBC Mars Colony is dedicated to designing and manufacturing aspects of a habitat that can withstand the challenges of the Martian environment. They are a design team focused on the goal of making life on Mars sustainable, while also expanding horizons in local communities through technical innovations while nurturing growth and diversity in the next generation of STEM education.

• External - Competition, Conference Presentation

Time Commitment

5 hours minimum, in-person every Saturday (Operations subteam time-commitment is reduced to 2 in-person hours)

Application Deadlines

• Term 1 recruitment (last week of August - end of 2nd week of September)
• Term 2 recruitment (first two weeks of January)
