Finding Your Community: EDI Affinity Groups

At UBC Engineering, it’s important to us that we are all doing our part to build a safe and inclusive community. We aim to cultivate an environment where values surrounding equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) are recognized and embedded in every aspect of student life. Our panelists will feature senior students from Women in Engineering (WiE) and the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE).

We are excited to present our Welcome to Engineering 2022 Event Series!

In this event series, current students will share their experiences and insights on a variety of topics to help you prepare for UBC Engineering. These virtual, panel-style events are developed and facilitated by Senior Orientation Leaders and/or student staff. These are also spaces where you can ask questions and connect more meaningfully with your peers.
