Advanced Credit Workshop (First-year credit)

These events are designed for applicants and incoming students who have applied to start UBC Engineering in September 2023.

As a new student to UBC, there are so many new things to learn before starting your studies in September. One of those items: registration! How do I register courses? What is the SSC? How do I know what courses to take next year? All these questions and more will be answered in the workshops being offered.

This workshop is for students who are coming to UBC Engineering with AP, IB or A-Level credits. Learn about how to get your advanced credits assessed, where to find them on the SSC, and how to apply them to the First Year Program.

In this virtual session, you'll meet an Academic Advisor and learn how your AP/IB/A-level credits may be used to meet your BASc. degree requirements.
