Advanced Credit Workshop (First-year credit)

These events are designed for applicants and incoming students who have applied to start UBC Engineering in September 2024.

As a new student at UBC, there are many things to learn before you start your studies in September. The process of registering for courses can bring about a lot of questions: How do I register? What courses do I take? What is Workday? How do I use my transfer/advanced credits? All these questions (and more!) will be answered in the workshops being offered.

This workshop is for students who are coming to UBC with AP, IB, or A-Level credits. Learn about how to get your advanced credits assessed, where to find them on Workday, and how to apply them to the First Year Program.

In this virtual session, you'll meet an Academic Advisor and learn how your AP/IB/A-level credits may be used to meet your BASc. degree requirements.
