This event is intended for students who have been admitted to the Bachelor of Applied Science for 2023W.
How can you find work/life balance look like during your first year? What does life look like outside of academics? Making friends, building social relationships, and finding your community are all important parts of your first-year experience, and UBC Engineering offers plenty of options for getting involved. In Beyond the Books: Getting Involved in Engineering Life, you will hear from students about fun ways to connect with other students outside of the classroom.
We are excited to present our Welcome to Engineering 2023 Event Series!
In this event series, current students will share their experiences and insights on a variety of topics to help you prepare for UBC Engineering. These virtual, panel-style events are developed and facilitated by Senior Orientation Leaders and/or student staff. These are also spaces where you can ask questions and connect more meaningfully with your peers.
