Women* in Engineering: Career Explorations (Grade 10-12)

UBC Geering Up presents Women* in Engineering: Career Explorations for girls* in Grades 10 to 12. 

To kickstart UBC Geering Up's 2023 - 2024 Events season is an All-girls* Event for Grades 10-12! UBC offers 14 types of engineering programs currently and knowing which program to choose is an important decision. The Women* in Engineering: Career Explorations event will see a diverse panel of women* that come from varying engineering backgrounds and career paths. Come learn from women* panelists as they share their journeys! With guidance from the panelists and Geering Up's team, you will engage in a career mapping session to envision and hone your engineering journey. The day will end with formation of teams that will solution a real-world problem through an Engineering Design Challenge. Here they come, Women* in Engineering!

For our panelists, akin to our definition for participating girls*, all cis and trans girls, genderqueer or non-binary people, and those who identify as other gender minorities are welcome
