Women in Engineering High School Mentorship Program (Application Deadline)
About
The UBC Women in Engineering (WiE) High School Mentorship Program aspires to increase female* high school students' access to UBC Engineering and to create a space where they can explore what engineering is and has to offer. High school students are paired in groups with current UBC Engineering students. Groups are expected to meet at least once a month (virtually or in-person at the discretion of the group) to discuss topics such as the different engineering programs, transitioning from high school to university, and what first-year engineering at UBC has to offer. Through our program curriculum, mentees will have the opportunity to learn more about engineering and engage in the UBC Engineering community.
The application deadline is November 2nd, 2025. By filling out this form, you are committing to the minimum time commitment of 1 Mentorship Group meeting per month.
In-person events will be held on the UBC Vancouver campus, but students not located in the Lower Mainland are still invited to participate in the virtual events.
