A rewarding road ahead

As you near the end of your academic journey, you’ll start charting a new destination: your career!

Engineering is one of the most rewarding professions. And we mean that in both senses of the word “rewarding”

Engineers are some of the best paid people across all industries

Unlike other professions like architecture, medicine, or law, you can start working in engineering right after you finish your undergraduate degree. There’s no need to do a second degree (unless you want to of course, and if so, engineering sets you up super well to pursue additional studies or transition into other career options!).

Engineering is also rewarding because engineers are making a difference and making our world a better place

They work in renewable energy systems, designing new ways to fuel our future. They are using their knowledge of robotics to design machines used to carry out complex surgeries or automate factories. They are finding sustainable waste management solutions and ways to make sure water is safe to drink in communities across the country. And they are developing the processes and technologies to protect and conserve our planet's resources.
